Institute for Economic Education (IfÖB)

The “Economic Education” division of the Department for Economics and Law at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg trains teachers in Economic Education for the German general secondary education system. From the winter semester of 2004/05, training has taken place on the internet-based Bachelor and Masters “Economic Education” degree programmes. Besides training, the IfÖB undertakes educational developmental research in Economic Education as a subject within the broader curriculum of all school forms and levels of study.
